Consultant Family Medicine

Dr.Samina Zaman is a highly qualified, UK trained Family Medicine Consultant. Dr. Samina studied Medicine (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow. She then completed her general and Family Medicine training in West Yorkshire, UK, where she continued to practice as a Family Medicine Consultant. As part of her training she worked in the fields of Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology and Family Medicine. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (London) and is fully registered as a current practitioner with both the General Medical Council (UK) and the Dubai Health Authority.

She can offer a range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care for men, women and children. This includes routine check-ups, immunization(childhood, adult and travel), screening tests, advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and referring you appropriately to other specialties when required. She is trained in Cervical cytology (Pap smears), Breast examinations and Basic Life Support (BLS). Her ethos is to provide the highest quality evidence based medicine to you and your family.
