Dr. Olaitan Adebayo Akeem is an alumnus of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and had his residency training at the National Hospital Abuja and the Katameya First Call Hospital, New Bussa

He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeon, and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
