Biography

Dr. Pradeep G Nayar completed his super speciality training in Cardiology at the reputed Southern Railway Head Quarters Hospital, Chennai in 1998. He has vast experience in Interventional Cardiology having worked at Railway Hospital, Perambur, Madras Medical Mission, Frontier Lifeline Hospital, and Chettinad Medical College, where he was a Professor and Head of Cardiology, and in MIOT Hospital, Chennai as Director (Academics) and Senior Consultant. He is presently Sr. Consultant Cardiologist at Fortis Malar Hospital. He is a dedicated teacher and has trained more than 30 students in Cardiology.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, Fellow of American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and International Society of Cardiac Interventions, His main areas of interest are Interventional Cardiology & Cardiac Failure Management and has over 40 Publications in National & International Indexed Journals.

He was awarded “BEST DOCTOR” award for “Outstanding Contribution in the field of Medical Education and Health Services” by the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University in Feb’ 2012.
