Dr. Abbas, our most senior member of the team of Physicians, has over 30 years of experience and has worked extensively in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, UK and UAE. An MRCP from UK, he has several achievements to his credit as setting up of renal disease units in King Fahad Hospital, Medina, and in Saif Bin Ghobash Hospital, UAE, among others. He has a special interest in community health with an emphasis on problems of developing countries and in prevention of renal and non-communicable diseases. He is a regular contributor to several medical conferences and speaks frequently on radio and television on various health matters. In recognition of his contributions, he has been appointed as the Tennessee Ambassador of Goodwill by the Governor of Tennessee, USA and is a honorary citizen of Johnson City, Tennessee, USA.
