Dr. Mittal is currently a consultant cardiologist at the indraprastha apollo hospitals delhi. He is an alumnus of the world renowned, g b pant hospital, new delhi. He completed his cardiology training from the g b pant hospital, new delhi and then continued to serve as a faculty – asst. Professor in the institute before joining the apollo hospital delhi. He has a very vast and wide clinical experience having served at premier institute and high volume cardiology centre of the country. He has performed more than 15,000 cardiac procedures with a vast experience in coronary and peripheral angiography and angioplasty, pacemakers, icd and crt device implantation, electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablations. He has numerous national and international publications in various journals and has also written many chapters in various cardiology textbooks.
