Dr. (Mrs.) Alka Mandke is a cardiac anaesthestist & wife of Late Dr. Nitu Mandke (a renowned Cardiac Surgeon). She did her M.D. & D.A. (Anaesth.) in 1st rank from B.J. Medical College, Pune. Currently she is Consultant, Cardiac Anaesthetist and Hon. Head of Department of Anaesthesia, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Her fields of interest are blood conservation, painless surgery with fast tracking in India & has presented her work in National & International conferences & journals. Delivered over 40 lectures on various topics including fast tracking and use of Desflurane in Cardiac Anaesthesia among others in India, Syria, Malaysia.
