Gynae Oncology

Dr Rani Bhat is a Senior Consultant and Head of Gynaecological Oncology Services at HCG Bangalore. She has a post-graduate masters degree (MS – OBG) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom (MRCOG). She has completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore and trained in Gynaecological Robotic Surgery at the Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong.

Dr Bhat is a keen academician and has authored chapters in textbooks and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has received several national and international awards for her work in Gynecological Oncology including the prestigious “Avon Foundation-AACR International Scholar-in-training grant by the American Association for Cancer Research”. Her area of expertise is Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC for Ovarian Cancers and Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in the management of Uterine Cancer and Cervical Cancers.
